🎯 Game Objective

Tongits is a 3-player rummy card game using 1 standard 52-card deck. The goal is to build valid sets (melds) and finish the game with the lowest deadwood point total, or win instantly with TONG-ITS by emptying your hand!

🎴 Dealing & First Turn Rule

• Starting Player (13 cards): During the first turn, the player dealt 13 cards CANNOT draw and MUST discard 1 card (they can also meld sets/sapaw). On subsequent rounds, they draw normally!
• Other 2 Players (12 cards each): Normal turns clockwise.
• Stock Deck: 15 cards placed in the center. Click directly on the deck to draw!

✨ Valid Sets (Melds)

• Sequence (Straight Flush): 3 or more cards of the same suit in consecutive rank (e.g. 2♥ 3♥ 4♥).
• Group (Three/Four of a Kind): 3 or 4 cards of the exact same rank (e.g. 5♠ 5♥ 5♦).

🔒 Secret Sets Staging Area vs Table Melds

• You can keep sets privately in your Secret Sets Tray (they won't be exposed to opponents).
• Or click Meld to Field to drop them on the table (allowing anyone to sapaw).

🔄 Turn Steps (Draw ➔ Meld/Sapaw ➔ Discard)

1. Draw or Chow: Click the Stock Deck to draw, or click the Discard pile to Chow if you can form a 3+ set with your hand.
2. Meld & Sapaw: Lay down sets or Sapaw onto exposed table sets.
3. Discard: Drag your card to the Dump pile or click "Discard Selected".

🏆 Ending & Scoring

• Tong-its: Win immediately by emptying your hand (0 cards).
• Stock Deck Out: All hands revealed. Sets kept in hand count as 0 points! Lowest deadwood score wins. Highest score starts next game.
